3. Child Accounts
For users under 13, Devinue collects parent or guardian contact information and records consent where required by law. Consent records may be retained for compliance and audit purposes.

Devinue uses personal data to:

- Deliver educational features and classroom functionality

- Provide support and respond to inquiries

Limited assignment context, code, or diagnostics may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses.
Devinue does not use user content to train AI models. AI providers may temporarily retain request data for service reliability, security monitoring, or abuse prevention.
AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by users.

12. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures
Devinue does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
13. Education Law Compliance
For institution-managed deployments, the educational institution acts as the data controller and is responsible for notices, permissions, and compliance with applicable education laws including FERPA and COPPA. Devinue processes data on behalf of the institution to provide the service.
14. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or other appropriate channels.
